CAIRO – 3 March 2019: Liverpool will face Everton on Sunday afternoon at the Goodison Park Stadium at the Premier League.

Following Manchester City’s victory on Saturday against Bournemouth, the Reds aim to regain the Premier League leadership when they face their local rivals in front of their fans.

“It is never a normal game. It's always really special; they are always interrupted a lot. We have had difficult games against Everton, but okay or really good results and that is the only thing we have to think about,” Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, said ahead of the game.

Liverpool hopes to continue their amazing unbeaten run at the derby as they reached 18 derbies unbeaten in all competitions and it is the longest in the fixture's long history.

“It is a new game and a fantastic opportunity for us to change history, respecting our opponent but also looking at ourselves and what we can do,” Everton manager, Marco Silva, said on Sunday.

Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, has a chance to break Alan Shearer’s record and become the fastest player to score 50 goals in the Premier League if he scores against Everton.

The game starts at 6:15 p.m.
