CAIRO – 27 February 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, revealed on Wednesday that he is happy with the individual records he achieved but winning the Premier League title is a priority for him.
“I always push myself to score more goals and to perform better. Of course records are nice but for me the Premier League is now the most important thing.” Salah said on Wednesday.
Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 and since then he established himself as one of the key players at the club.
He won the Premier League Golden Boot last season and he scored 17 goals this season to lead the race to win the award this season alongside Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
Salah added “It is a very big week. There are three games in eight days and if we can do well in them and still be top of the table that's big for us.”
Liverpool hosts Watford on Wednesday night and they will face their noisy neighbors, Everton on Sunday at the derby of the city and they will host Burnley a week later at Anfield.
Liverpool are leading the Premier League table with 66 points, one point ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City.
