Youth minister launches torch of declaring Aswan as capital for African youth

CAIRO, Feb 7 (MENA) - Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy has launched the torch of declaring Aswan the capital for African youth for 2019 in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi initiative.

In a press conference on Thursday, the minister said that Egypt, thanks to president Sisi's efforts, managed to restore its pioneering role in the African continent.

The decision to declare Aswan as the capital for African youth coincides with Egypt's presidency of the African Union for 2019 and Egypt's interest in youth activities.
