CAIRO - 3 June 2017: Arsenal Football Club is interested in Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, who previously asked to leave Leicester, according to manager Arsene Wenger.
“We have not made a bid, but personally, I like the player, yes," Wenger told beIN Sports on Saturday.
“Have we made a bid for him? No. Not yet. No, we have not. When I say 'not yet' it means it could happen. It might not happen," he added.
In 2014, Mahrez joined Leicester after he was playing for French club Le Havre; he was also voted PFA player of the year in 2016, BBC reported.
