CAIRO - 22 January 2018: Not all talented designers are famous or are assigned responsibility for making designs for Egypt's national and global campaigns. Many of the designers, who are not widely known, have recently published models of their designs, promoting for the 2019 African Cup of Nations Egypt is set to host.

Shortly after Egypt was handed the responsibility to host the tournament, as it was stripped from Cameroon for delays in preparations, young designers started to produce dozens of creative content, under the slogan "Come to Egypt," probably hoping that one of their designs will be picked.

Egypt Today displays a group of photos published by Mosameminala al-Nasya, a specialized Facebook page serving as a platform for creative designs.

Many designs that were made earlier for national campaigns have been widely criticized before the Egyptian state could modify them, including national team plane's design for the 2018 World Cup and the logo of Egypt's Grand Egyptian Museum.

In this regard, Egyptian designers also issued a number of alternative designs that were welcomed by Egyptian people, but failed to be officially considered.

Earlier in January, The CAF Executive Committee announced that Egypt will host the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches. Egypt won the rights to host the tournament after being selected over South Africa.

Egypt Football Association president, Hany Abo Rida, said that the organization's committees and the tournament’s official mascot and logo will be revealed soon.

Egypt is believed to be the most successful nation in the history of the competition as it has won a record of seven titles including three in a row between 2006 and 2010. The country hosted four African Cup of Nations' tournaments in 1959, 1974, 1986 and 2006 and they failed to achieve the title only in 1974.
