CAIRO – 2 January 2018: It is a great time for Liverpool supporters as their team is leading the Premier League table with seven points ahead of the second placed, Manchester City.
Their striker, Mohamed Salah, is on fire as he bounced back after a frustrating start of the season. He scored 13 goals and he is in a battle to be the league'stop goalscorer alongside Arsenal’s Aubameyang and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
On the other hand, the playersare also having a great relationship which appeared on Saturday and almost made the club manager, JurgenKlopp, cry.
During Liverpool’s 5-1 victory over Arsenal on Saturday night at the league, Salah voluntarily gave his teammate, Roberto Firmino, the ball and let him take the penalty to complete his hat-trick.
Klopp commented on this incident, saying “Mo Salah gave the penalty to Firmino and I almost cried because we all know how much Mo wants to score goals. It was really nice. Christmas is over but not between the boys!”
Liverpool will face the defending champions, Manchester City, on Thursday night at Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
