CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup draws revealed

CAIRO –29 December 2018: CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup draw was held on Friday, at CAF Headquarter at Cairo, which resulted in easy group for Al-Ahly SC, a tough one for Ismaily SC and an Arab clash for Zamalek SC.

Al-Ahly was placed on the top of Group D beside Algeria's JS Saoura, Tanzania's Simba and Vita Club from Congo DR.

Ismaily SC returned back to CAF Champions League group stage after a long time to be placed in the toughest group; TP Mazembe, Tunisia's Club Africain and CS Costantine.

Zamalek will face an Arab clash in the 32nd round of CAF Confederation Cup as they are set to meet Morocco's IR Tanger.

The first leg is scheduled to be on January 13th and the second leg is a week after that date.
