It's OK, I forgive you: Lovren to Salah

CAIRO – 27 December 2018: Dejan Lovren, Liverpool’s centre-back, replied to Salah’s sarcasm on Twitter after their game against Newcastle United when the Reds thrashed the Magpies 4-0 at Anfield.

Liverpool finished the first stage of the Premier League 6 points ahead their successor, Tottenham Spurs and 7 points over title holders, Manchester City.

It all starts when Salah posted some pictures of Lovren who seemed casting envious glances on Salah and Fabinho, who scored his first goal this season.

Salah and Lovren have a close friendship off the pitch since the Egyptian joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 summer.

On Thursday morning, Lovren posted a story on his Instagram account of a picture for him and Salah and wrote: “Its ok bro, I forgive you”.




Lovren scored Liverpool’s first goal before Salah doubled the score from the penalty spot. Shaqiri added the third goal before Fabinho’s fourth goal to extend Liverpool’s time on the top.
