Tunisian reports link Zamalek with Espérance's left back

CAIRO – 26 December 2018: Zamalek is about to sign Espérance ‘sTunisian left back, Ayman Ben Mohamed, according to Tunisian reports.

The 24-year-old joined Espérance in 2016 after he spent his entire career in Ireland playing for University College Dublin, Longford and Bohemian F.C., respectively.

The player, born in London to an Irish mother and Tunisian father, earned his first international call to play for Tunisia in 2016.

The Tunisian left back played a major role in his team’s successful campaign at the 2018 CAF Champions League in which his team achieved the title after defeating Al-Ahly at the final.

He also represented the club at the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup in UAE in which the club achieved the fifth place.

Zamalek squad includes two Tunisian players, Ferjani Sassi and Hamdi Niguez, beside Congo’s Kasongo Kabongo and Morocco’s Hamid Ahaddad.

Zamalek has to release one of their four foreign players if they want to sign Ben Mohamed.

Zamalek has been linked with many signings in the winter market like Abdullah el-Said from Saudi club Al-Ahli and Syria’s Omar Khribin who plays for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
