CAIRO – 10 December 2018: Liverpool's Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, had an amazing day on Saturday alongside his teammates at Liverpool who started the day suffering from criticism and finished it as league leaders.

The day started at Vitality Stadium where Liverpool faced the hosts, Bournemouth who had an amazing season so far and competed for winning a position to play in European competitions.

Salah was the hero for his team scoring three goals and leading them to win the game 4-0.

The Egyptian winger became the first Liverpool player to score three goals in an away game since Luis Suarez who scored a hat-trick against Cardiff City away in 2014.

Salah put an end to the criticism he faced after his poor performance last Sunday at the derby against Everton and he became the Premier League top goal scorer alongside Arsenal’s
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 10 goals each.

Unsurprisingly, Salah won Man of the Match award for his amazing performance but he gave it away to his teammate, James Milner, who participated at his 500th Premier League game on Saturday.

“I have to congratulate him for his amazing career. He deserves it today and I hope we are going to win something this season together,” Salah said after refusing to receive the award.

Salah's former teammates in Chelsea granted him and Liverpool the Premier League leadership as Chelsea defeated Manchester City 2-0 to stop City’s unbeaten run at the League.

Liverpool stays at the top of the table with 42 points, one point ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City.
