CAIRO –06 December 2018: Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet seems to leave the Turkish league towards the Arabian lands, Saudi Arabia, according to Turkish reports on Thursday morning.
Sporx and Yenicag, Turkish newspapers, revealed that the Saudi club, Al-Shabab, is interested in signing the Egyptian player.
Reports added that Al Shabab will offer Kasimpasa, Trezeguet's current club, an offer with €7 million in addition to a big salary for the 24-years-old.
Trezeguet's desire will decide his future; whether he prefers moving to Europe or stepping back to the Arabian leagues.
Al-Ahly's product shined for the second season in Turkey with Kasimpasa as he played 14 games this season; scoring five goals and providing 5 assists.
Al Shabab is placed 6th in the Saudi Pro league after playing 11 games; winning 4 games, drew in 5 games and losing 2 games.
Trezeguet was close to leave the Turkish club to Inter Milan or Slavia Prague but he preferred to play another year in Turkey.
Former Anderlecht player played with the Egyptian national team in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He has 33 international games generally with all the national teams; scoring 4 goals.
