ABIDJAN – 29 October 2018: Zamalek's handball team clinched Sunday the men’s African Club Championship title for the 11th time in its history after defeating Al Ahly team in the final match, held in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Whites won the game's first half 13-11. The second set ended with a score of 27-25 for them.
Zamalek claimed the title for the second season in a row.
The 40th African Handball Clubs Championship began in Abidjan on October 18 bringing together 21 clubs from 10 countries on the African continent.
