We are focused on Setif game, Mohareb

CAIRO – 13 October 2018: Al-Ahly defender, Eslam Mohareb, revealed on Saturday that his teammates are focusing on the game against ES Setif at CAF Champions League semi-finals second leg.

“We are focused on the semi-finals second leg against ES Setif. It is our dream to achieve the title and qualify to FIFA Club World Cup.” Mohareb told Al-Ahly official website.

Al-Ahly defeated ES Setrif 2-0 at the first leg in Cairo and Mohareb scored Al-Ahly’s second goal in the game.

Mohareb added “The victory in Cairo is a great step towards the final and we will do everything to achieve a good result in Algeria to reach the final and make our fans happy.”

Al-Ahly had a tough week at the domestic level as they lost 4-3 to Ittihad Alexandria at the League on Sunday and they reached Egypt Cup second round after defeating second division club, Tersana, 3-2 on Wednesday.

“We bounced back against Tersana and reached the cup second round after the disappointing loss against Ittihad.” Mohareb added.

Al-Ahly will travel to Algeria on October 21 to get ready for the semi-finals second leg against Setif on October 23 at 8 May 1945 Stadium in Sétif.
