CAIRO – 13 September 2018: Al Ahly SC midfielder Saleh Gomaa terminated his contract with Al-Faisaly FC after being loaned from Al-Ahly until the end of the current season.
Gomaa terminated his contract after he had carried out financial clearances with the Saudi Arabian football club.
Officials of Al-Ahly confirmed that Gomaa informed them that he ended his contract with the administration of Al-Faisaly to return to Al-Ahly SC. The player cannot be registered before the upcoming winter transfer window. The Egyptian club can loan him to any of the leagues during the transfer window.
Egyptian professional footballer Gomaa was born in August 1, 1993. He played for Saudi club Al-Faisaly, on loan from Al Ahly. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2013 African U-20 Championship.
When he was 19, he played at the 2013 African U-20 championship in Algeria and won The Player of the Tournament Award.
Gomaa appeared competitively for the first time in 2011 when he was promoted to Enppi SC first team.
