Al-Ahly clinches 2-0 win from Coton sports in Champions League

CAIRO – 24 May 2017: Al-Ahly SC regained its verve and thrashed the Cameroon host Coton Sports 2-0 in the CAF Champions League group-stage second showdown.

Al-Ahly tuned up pressure early in the game and made a quick lead over the host by scoring a goal in the 12th minute into the match by the Nigerian Junior Ajayi, only two minutes away from the teams' second goal by Mo'men Zakaria.

By this win, Al-Ahly takes a lead in the CAF Champions League Group D, and is currently gearing up for Masr al-Makassa clash slated for next Monday to cement their Premier League title.
