Hockey: Egyptian Cup Final to be played on June 7

CAIRO – 23 May 2017: Egyptian Hockey Federation set June 7 for the final match of the Egyptian Hockey Cup, scheduled to take place at the stadium of Police Union Club in Cairo.

The Sharqiya hockey team will be facing Egypt’s cup holder Al-Taerat.

Hany Hamouda, president of the federation, revealed the Australian ambassador to Egypt will attend the finale to hand out the medals. Hamouda has also invited Singapore ambassador to attend the final match.

Sharqyia had claimed the title of the league after managing to overrun Police Union club, which is occupying the second spot.
