Egypt beat Czech in World University Handball Championship

ZAGREB, Aug 5 (MENA) - Egypt's Universiade Team beat the Czech Universiade Team 34-28 in a handball match that was held as part of the 2018 World University Handball Championship earlier Sunday.

Having beaten the Czech team, Egypt now comes fifth in the tournament.

The Egyptian team had an equal score with Croatia during their first match, which ended 33-33.

Egypt was defeated by Portugal 30-28 during its second match, but was able to beat Lithuania in a third encounter 29-22.

It also won a match versus Poland with 33-23.
