Zamalek’s Gross starts the camp with 28 players

CAIRO – 8 July2018: Zamalek’s new coach, Christian Gross, announced the 28-player list that will travel to Nuremberg, Germany, for the pre-season preparations on Sunday.

Gross chose 28 players to travel in the camp organized by Zamalek’s board. Zamalek is set to play three friendly matches against Nuremberg on Tuesday, and Emiriati club, Al Wasl, on Friday, while the third match has not been decided yet.

The Egyptian international players AlyGabr, TarekHamed, Kahraba and Shikabala are excluded from the list as they are taking rest after their participation in the 2018 World Cup.

The list includes:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gensh, Emadel Sayed, and Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Hamdi "Al Wensh", Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Hazem Imam, Camacho,Ahmed Fattouh, and Hamdi Nagguez.

Midfielders: EmadFathi, Mahmoud Abdel Aati "Dunga", Mohamed Ashraf "Roqa", AymanHefny, Abdullah Gomaa, Mohamed Antar, Ahmed Madbouli, Ibrahim Hassan, MostafaFathi, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Refaat, and Mohamed Ibrahim.

Attack: Yusuf Ibrahim "Obama", Omar al-Saeed, Mustafa Mohamed, Hamid Ahdad, and Saif Farouk Gafar.

BahaaMagdi, the left-back who recently joined Zamalek fromIsmaily, is expected to join the delegation in the coming hours.
