Darwish, Hedaya and Seif win medals for Egypt on Friday

CAIRO – 29 June 2018: Egypt's Ramadan Darwish won the Golden Medal in the 100kg weight category of the judo competition in the 2018 Mediterranean Games, currently held in Spain. He beat the Italian champion 100-0.

Darwish has qualified to the final game after beating the French champion.

In the other games, Egypt’s Seif Issa won the Silver Medal in the 80kg weight category of the Taekwondo after beating Spain’s champion 17/14 in the final game.


Hedaya Malak - Press Photo

Hedaya Malak also won the Bronze medal in the 69kg weight category of the Taekwondo on Friday. Radwa Reda also won the Silver medal in Taekwondo on Thursday.

It’s worth mentioning that Egypt’s record in the 2018 Mediterranean Games reached 41; between 15 Bronze, 111 Silver and 15 Gold.
