CAIRO – 19 June 2018: The Pharaohs have announced their official starting squad for their second game at the World Cup against Russia, scheduled for 8 p.m. at Saint Petersburg Stadium.
Mohamed Salah will be hopefully leading the Egyptians to achieve the first victory at the World Cup in order to take a step closer to qualify to the next stage of the tournament.
The Argentine head coach of the Egyptian national team, Hector Cuper, has chosen the following players to start the game:
Goalkeeper:

• Ahmed Fathy
• Ahmed Hegazi
• Ali gabr
• Mohamed Abdel Shafy
Midfielders:
• Tarek hamed
• Mohamed el-Neny
• Abdallah al-Said

• Mohamed Salah
• Marwan Mohsen
• Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet
Egypt plays in group A alongside Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia; the Egyptians lost the first game of the group stage to Uruguay with a +90 goal, while Russia managed to thrash the Saudi team in the opening of the tournament with five goals with no reply.
