Twitter reveals its key highlights on Egypt’s World Cup game

CAIRO – 16 June 2018: Despite the respectful performance of the Egyptian National team in the group stage’s second match against Uruguay, the Pharaohs lost 0-1 through late José Giménez header.

The World Cup and individual pages are located at the top of the timeline for every game - including scores, Tweets, video and Moments. In addition, the Egypt team has its own country-specific emoji on Twitter. When people use the following hashtags, the Egyptian flag will appear after the text: #EGY , #ThePharoahs , الفراعنة#.

Similar data will be available following Egypt’s against Russia (#RUSEGY) and Saudi Arabia (#KSAEGY) on 19 June and 25 June respectively.
