The goalkeeper turned 45 in January and he will be the oldest player ever to participate in the tournament if he plays in the World Cup.
“I would be the happiest man on earth if I start the game tomorrow. I have worked very hard in the last 25 years to play in the World Cup and finally I am here,” Hadary added.
Hadary played five of Egypt’s six games at the World Cup qualifiers and he conceded 3 goals.
