CAIRO – 4 June 2018: Rome is still interested in including Ajax striker Justin Kluivert, which prompted it to raise its offer for the player.

Roma is preparing a 15 million euro offer for the Dutch player, but Ajax demanded an offer not less than 25 million euros. Kluivert's contract extends until 2019, which is why Ajax wants to sell the player next summer, as he will be free to sign a contract with any club next January.

The 18-year-old Ajax footballer — son of former football player Patrick Kluivert, who played for six consecutive seasons at Barcelona — has already debuted with the Netherlands national team, has become one of the great pearls of football after dazzling in the Eredivise.

According to the Italian newspaper Sport, Roma has presented an 8 million euro offer at first, but it was rejected. The team came back with a 15 million euro offer.

Roma's path is not easy, as it is expected to find contenders like Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, both of which can pay more than Roma can afford.

Starting regularly from the left wing, the player has already played 30 games this year with the first team of Ajax, a club specialized with getting the best out of its players. He has scored eight goals and made four assists.
