Egyptian national team to perform training for Colombia friendly

ROME - 31 May 2018: The Egyptian national team is to hold a training session later on Thursday at the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia stadium in Italy in preparation for the pre-World Cup friendly against Colombia.

Egypt coach Hector Cuper will lead the training ahead of the friendly, due to be held at the same stadium on Saturday.

Egypt will play its last friendly against Belgium on June 6 before competing in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, to kick off on June 14.

Egypt is set to compete in the World Cup Group A, along with Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia, as the Egyptian side will debut against Uruguay on June 15.
