CAIRO – 19 May 2018: It seems that Kasimpasa’s Egyptian winger, Mahmoud Hassan “Trezgeuet”, will have a very hot summer, as he is set to leave his Turkish club. Many offers are on the table for Trezeguet; one of them was from the Premier League club Watford.
Turkish channel Fanatic revealed that Watford presented an offer to Kasimpasa to sign their Egyptian winger in the next transfer market for €6 million ($7 million).
Kasimpasa prefers to wait until the end of the 2018 World Cup, as Trezeguet is set to participate with the Egyptian national team. The Turkish club believes that Trezeguet’s market value will increase after the World Cup.
Previously, it had been reported by Turkish media that giant club Galatasaray showed interest in signing the Egyptian player next summer in a €2 million transfer move.
Reports claimed that Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is interested in including the winger on his squad as soon as possible.
The Egyptian has an amazing goal-record in the Turkish league, as he scored 16 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions to lead the top scorers of his team.
Trezeguet is an Al-Ahly academy product. He joined the club when he was 9 and joined the club’s first team when he was 19.
He played four years for Al-Ahly before leaving in 2016 to Anderlecht, who loaned him to Mouscron and Kasimpasa.
