CAIRO – 19 May 2018: Real Madrid has set the goal of signing Roma’s Brazilian goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, for the next season. Real Madrid has Keylor Navas but wants to reinforce the goalkeeper position with the signing of Alisson.

As Josep Pedrerol told the Spanish program “El Chiringuito” that Alisson has become the number one goal of Real Madrid for the goalkeeper position.

Real Madrid has already made the first approach to Alisson, 25, whose market value is about €70 million ($82.5 million). However, Roma’s sporting director, Monchi, has already rejected the first offer for Alisson.

"Now I only think about the present, the match against Sassuolo and the World Cup with Brazil," said Alisson.

Roma is not willing to negotiate over Alisson if the offer is below €100 million, an amount that Real Madrid surely will not spend.

"Madrid wants Keylor to be the goalkeeper of Real Madrid, but it is also true that a goalkeeper of the future is the best option for Madrid, and now Alisson is the best option," Pedrerol said to the El Chiringuito program.
