UAE will honor Hossam Ghaly and host Ajax’s match

CAIRO – 9 May 2018: Al Ahly will be travelling on Wednesday night to UAE to face AFC Ajax on Friday, May 11, as part of Al Ahly midfielder, Hossam Ghaly's retirement celebration as he will be ending his football career. The match will take place in the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Upon arrival to Sharjah Airport, the team will head to Dubai and will stay in Al Ain city which will be hosting Ghaly’s honorary retirement celebration.

During Ghaly’s time with Al Ahly, he won four Egyptian Champion titles, two Egyptian Cup titles, three Egyptian Super Cup titles, two CAF Champions League titles, one CAF Super Cup and Africa Cup, and one CAF Confederation Cup.

Al Ahly leader played for several football clubs such as Feyenoord Rotterdam, Tottenham Spurs, Al Nasr Riyadh, and Lierse SK.

Ghaly played 55 international games with the Egyptian national team. He joined the national team in 2002 and was part of the squad in the 2004 and 2010 African Cup of Nations.
