CAIRO – 7 May 2018: The official website of the Union of European Football Associations revealed Monday the referees chosen by the UEFA Referees Committee to take charge of the final match of the major European clubs tournament, the Champions League.

The Referees Committee chose Serbian Milorad Mažić for the Champions League final, scheduled for Saturday May 26, and set to take place at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv between Real Madrid and Liverpool, the team where our Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, plays.

Mažić arbitrated the final of the last edition of the Confederations Cup held in Russia last year; he became an international referee in 2009. The 45 year-old referee will be assisted by his countrymen Milovan Ristić and Dalibor Djurdjević, the fourth referee will be Clément Turpin from France, while the two additional assistant referees, Nenad Djokić and Danilo Grujić, are also from Serbia.
