CAIRO – 26 April 2018: Cairo International Stadium hosts the Cairo Derby between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the Egyptian League on Thursday night.
Zamalek players hope to achieve victory in the derby and reconcile their fans after a disastrous season while Al-Ahly, the League champions, hope to finish their amazing League season in a perfect way by achieving victory over their rivals.
Al-Ahly will miss two key players, Walid Azaro and Ali Maaloul, who failed to recover from their injuries before the game and Al-Ahly’s manager Hossam El-Badry will grant a chance to the reserves to prove their abilities at the biggest game of the season.
On the other hand, Zamalek caretaker manager Khaled Galal will count on his experienced players to achieve the desired result against Al-Ahly.
Al-Ahly’s expected line-up for the game consists of the following: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Saad Samir, Ahmed Fathy, Ayman Ashraf, Sabry Rahil, Amr El-Solya, Hossam Ashour, Mido Gaber, Walid Soliman, Junior Ajayi and Marwan Mohsen.
Zamalek’s expected line-up for the game consists of the following: Mahmoud Gennesh, Maarouf Youssef, Hamdi Nagguez, Mahmoud Alaa, Mahmoud Hamdy, Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Abdelaziz, Mahmoud Donga, Ayman Hefny, Ahmed Madbouli and Kabongo Kasongo.
Zamalek’s players seek to avenge their 3-0 loss to Al-Ahly in the first game of the season at the League.
