CAIRO – 4 April 2018: Barcelona hosts AS Roma at Camp Nou Stadium Wednesday night in the first-leg quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League at 8:45 p.m. (CLT).

Barcelona is in great form in the current period, as the team leads La Liga with nine points more than the closest competitor, in addition to qualifying to the final of the King’s Cup, making the Catalan team enter the game against Roma with high morale.

The Spanish team is now concentrating on the most valuable European trophy in order to take a closer step to achieve all three major trophies of the season.

"In these moments, I have even better feelings that this year we could repeat those achievements, because not only are we on a good path, but in the three competitions we are performing consistently and at a great level," Barcelona left back Jordi Alba said in a press conference held Tuesday.

"In the dressing room, we aren't talking about the treble, but we know for our fans it is a great hope, and for us too, but there is a long way to go,” he added.

The latest confrontation between the two teams was nearly a one-sided game, as the Spanish giants thrashed Roma with six goals to one.

Most of the Egyptian football fans, if not all of them, will miss watching this game, owing to the other quarter-final match being played at the same time between Manchester City and Liverpool, where rising Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will be playing.
