Chellini, Cuadrado are ready for Milan and Madrid clashes

CAIRO – 31 March 2018:Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus’ coach, announced on Friday that his Italian defender Giorgio Chellini and the Colombian midfielder Juan Guillermo Cuadrado haverecovered from their respective injuries and will be available for the important clashes against AC Milan and Real Madrid in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League respectively.

Juventus faces AC Milan in the 30th round of Serie A on Saturday evening aiming to keep their league’s leadership secured with their 75 points, as Napoli are chasing the black andwhite team with 73 points.

Allegri mentionedin a press conference that Chiellini will start and that Cuadrado will be on the bench in the match against Milan, the last one before the first leg of the 2017/2018 Champions League quarterfinals against Real Madrid.

"[Juan] Cuadrado will be on the bench tomorrow, he's fine, the same as [Giorgio] Chiellini," the coach revealed, while noting that he has to evaluate the conditions of Brazil's Alex Sandro, who is still recovering from a muscle injury.

The one who will not be ready is Juventus’ striker Federico Bernardeschi.

"Bernardeschi will be back next week, Alex Sandro [is experiencing]discomfort, we'll see if he's fit tomorrow,” Allegri said.

The Italian coach insisted on the significance of the match against Milan, whichis very important forwinning the league title, and explained that his team will think of Real Madrid from Monday.

"We have the ambition to beat one of the best teams in the world, Real Madrid. It will be a great game, but our priority remains the Serie A. We will fight against Real Madrid with realism and ambition,”he said.
