Mohareb scores hat-trick, leads Al-Ahly to defeat Al-Fujairah

CAIRO – 28 March 2018: Al-Ahly defeated Al-Fujairah 4-1 on Tuesday in a friendly game during the celebration of the golden jubilee of Al-Fujairah football club.

Al-Ahly participated in the game without their international players, who are participating with their national teams, while the Emirati team was supported by many Arab stars, like UAE’s Omar Abdel-Rahman, known as Amouri, and Saudi Arabia’s Yasser Al Qahtani.

Al-Ahly attacking midfielder Eslam Mohareb shined during the game and scored three goals to lead his team to victory.

Mohareb opened the score for Al-Ahly 17 minutes into the game after receiving a wonderful pass from Amr El-Solia to make the score 1-0.

Al-Ahly doubled the score in the second half with a goal from the team’s captain, Hossam Ghaly, through a bicycle kick.

Mohareb scored his second goal in the game and Al-Ahly’s third only minutes later, after he dribbled past three of the Emirati club’s defense, making the score 3-0.

Al-Fujairah’s Danilo made the score 3-1 after he completed a shot that Al-Ahly goalkeeper Aly Lotfi failed to catch.

Mohareb scored his third goal in the game minutes later, after a great run from Al-Ahly’s area, to make the score 4-1.



Al-Ahly’s delegation will leave the United Arab Emirates for Egypt on Wednesday at 4 p.m. on a private plane so that the players can vote in the presidential election before the voting ends at 9 p.m.
