CAIRO – 14 March 2018: Al-Ahly faces Tunisia’s CF de Carthage on Thursday night in the Women's African Volleyball final at Abdulla Al Faysal Halls.

Al-Ahly reached the final after defeating Kenya’s Pipeline 3-1 on Tuesday night.

“I am so happy with the players’ performance against Pipeline and their comeback in the game after losing the first set,” Al-Ahly manager Hamdy El-Safy told the club’s official website on Tuesday.

Al-Ahly lost the first set 25-22, but they won three consecutive sets, 25-16, 25-19 and 25-8, to win the game and reach the final.

Safy added, “We will face a tough opponent in the final and we need our fans to support us against the title holders to achieve the title.”

Al-Ahly is having an amazing run in the competition, as they reached the final without losing a single game and they only lost one set in the whole tournament, against Pipeline in the semi-finals.
