CAIRO – 9 March 2018: For the second time this season, Salah has been named on Friday as Premier League’sPlayer of the Month for February.
Salah came on top of a list that includes Sergio Aguero (Manchester City), Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Pascal Gross (Brighton & Hove Albion), Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Glenn Murray (Brighton) and XherdanShaqiri (Stoke City) in a public vote to land the award.
He is the player who helped his team the most inFebruary, having scored four goals and provided two assists in three Premier League matches.
Salah was awarded this prize previously last November forscoring seven goals in four games then.
“It’s nice to win it again for the second time. That’s something good, but in the end I say I always try to help us to reach the three points and be in a better position, that’s the most important thing. But it’s something individual, this award, and it’s nice to win it again,” the no.11 said to Liverpool’s official website.
The Egyptian winger is breaking record with Liverpool this season; he became the first Liverpool player to win Liverpool’s Player of The Month award five times in one season.
Salah is now sharing the top scorer position of the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, with 24 goals each. The Egyptian Pharaoh is Liverpool's top scorer in all English and European competitions this season with 32 goals.
