CAIRO – 5 March 2018: Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian Liverpool star, won the Premier League Player of the Month Award from the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).

In a poll conducted by the Professional Footballers’ Association, Salah won 37% of the votes to select the best player in the English Premier League competition for February. This is the third time that Mohamed Salah wins the award.

Salah is now sharing the top scorer position of the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, with 24 goals each. The Egyptian Pharaoh is Liverpool's top scorer in all English and European competitions this season with 32 goals.

Liverpool’s official Twitter account celebrated Mo’s award by tweeting some of his notable goals scored with the team.

English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made an interview with the official website of the Reds. Most of his talk was about how Mohamed Salah is a source of inspiration to him and to the other players of the team for his great efforts and performance. “I can take so much from someone like Mo Salah. Just look at him this season. It has been relentless and when someone can go from – obviously he is a great player – but to be competing with Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero for top goal scorer is something you have to learn from,” he said.

Mo is preparing to lead Liverpool against Portugal’s Porto in the second-leg match of the round of 16 of the Champions League; they will meet on Tuesday at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium. Liverpool managed to win their first-leg match at the Estádio do Dragão in Portugal with a clean five.
