Farag, El Sherbiny, El Tayeb qualify to 3rd stage of Windy City Open

CAIRO – 25 February 2018: Egyptian squash champions Ali Farag, Nour El Sherbiny and Nour El Tayeb have qualified to the third stage of Windy City Open Squash hosted by Chicago, the United States.

Farag’s qualification came after he defeated Australia’s Ryan Cuskelly with three sets and no reply (11-6/11-8/11-5) in a game that lasted for 41 minutes.

Meanwhile, in the female competitions, world’s number one Nour El Sherbiny qualified to the third stage after she managed to overcome the American Olivia Blatchford with three sets and no reply as well (11-4/11-6/11-5) in a game that only lasted 27 minutes.

In the same competitions, Nour El Tayeb managed to beat Tesni Evans of Wales to book her seat in the next stage of the tournament where she is set to face Nour El Sherbiny on February 26.
