Squash champion Karim Abdel-Gawad claims Houston Open

CAIRO - 24 April 2017: World champion squash player Karim Abdel-Gawad won the Life Time Hutkay.fit Houston Open Sunday, his first PSA World Tour title since January.

Abdel-Gawad managed to clinch the title following his 3-1 win over fellow Egyptian Tarek Momen, ranked World No. 11 (11 / 6، 5 / 11، 11 / 8، 11 / 6).

Earlier, Egypt dominated the quarter-finals after Fares Dessouky, Tarek Momen, Karim Abdel-Gawad and Mohamed Abouelghar, completing the semi-final lineup.
