CAIRO – 10 February 2018: Zamalek SC visits Borg El Arab stadium to face Smouha in the 23rd round of the Egyptian League at 05:15 pm (CLT).
Zamalek is currently in 4th place with 36 points. In total, the white team succeeded to grab ten victories in the league while both losing and drawing six times respectively.
Smouha places 5th with 35 points. The side have only achieved ten victories in the league, they have been defeated five times and drawn seven games.
Smouha’s biggest victory over Zamalek was on October 20, 2017 at Petro Sport stadium when Smouha players’ Mohamed Hamdi Zaki, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Patrick Malo scored three goals together to thrash Zamalek in the 6th round of the Egyptian league this season.
Zamalek’s biggest win over Smouha was on May 15, 2011 at Cairo Stadium in the 21st round of the Egyptian league’s 2010/2011 season.
Zamalek stunned Smouha 3-0 thanks to former Zamalek players Ahmed Gaafar and Hussein Yasser el-Mohammady and current Saudi club Al-Raed's player Mahmoud Abdel Razek known as Shikabala.
Zamalek’s top scorer this season is Mohamed Ashraf Rouka with five goals while Smouha’s top scorer is Mohamed Hamdi Zaki with seven goals.
