CAIRO – 9 February 2018: Tottenham Hotspurs face Arsenal on Saturday in the Premier League at Wembley stadium. Arsenal players hope to continue their amazing run after their 5-1 victory over Everton last week.

The fans will experience watching a north London derby at Wembley for the first time since 1993 when Arsenal defeated Tottenham 1-0 at FA Cup final thanks to a late goal by Tony Adams.

Tottenham started using Wembley as their home stadium this season as their old stadium, White Hart Lane, was completely demolished at the end of July 2017.

Arsenal fans depend on their new signings, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan who played a great role in their victory over Everton. Mkhitaryan provided three assists while Aubameyang scored in his debut with the club.

“It is a big game because we are behind in the table and we have to catch up. I must say that personally, it’s more important mathematically for us to come back as quickly as possible, rather than it being emotionally-charged,” Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger told press ahead of the game.

On the other hand, the hosts will depend on the harmony between their attacking line players, Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Harry Kane who tops the Premier League goal scorer list with 22 goals.

“It will be an amazing game and we are so excited because we know what it means to play the derby. All the derbies are tough games but the most important thing is to arrive in a good condition, to be ready, to challenge them, to fight and try to win,” Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino told spurs TV ahead of the game.

Arsenal are in sixth place in the league with 45 points and they are four points behind the fifth placed, Tottenham Hotspurs.
