CAIRO – 23 April 2017: American football wunderkind Aaron Hernandez’s motives to murder Odin Lloyd were an attempt to protect himself from being exposed as a “closet bisexual,” American media outlets reported Saturday.

Hernandez reportedly murdered Lloyd to prevent him from telling his bride-to-be, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, about his sexual orientations.

Hernandez was indicted in 2013 for the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd, after which he was sentenced to jail.

The indictment irrevocably tarnished Hernandez’ clean-cut All-American image and prematurely ended his promising career on the football field. The murder case was shrouded in mystery concerning Hernandez’ relationship with Lloyd as well as his motive for murder.

On April 19, Hernandez committed suicide in his prison cell by hanging himself.
His suicide came as a shocking surprise to his family members and close friends who assert that they perceived no signs of suicidal proclivities on his part.

Hernandez was implicated in another violent incident which involved the fatal shootings of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, but was later acquitted and cleared of all charges.
