Al Ahly faces Ittihad Alexandria at Borg El Arab

CAIRO – 04 February 2018: Al Ahly’s manager Hossam el-Badry announced the official line-up to face Ittihad Alexandria in the 22nd round of the Egyptian League at Borg El Arab stadium at 05:15 p.m. (CLT).

Al Ahly is the current leader of the Egyptian League table with 51 points; six points clear above the second place Al Ismaily. Al Ahly has one game-in-hand that will be next week against Al Mokawlon El Arab.

Al Ahly succeeded to grab an important 1-0 victory over Al Ismaily in the 21st round thanks to a late goal from Al Ahly’s winger Walid Soliman.

Al Ahly’s biggest win over Ittihad Alexandria was 6-0 in the 2005/2006 season. It was in the same season (dubbed Al Ahly’s golden era) that the Reds managed to achieve an undefeated title.



Ittihad Alexandria biggest win over Al Ahly was 4-1 in the 2014/2015 season.
