Al-Ahly to meet Tunisian Hammamet in African Championship Winners' Cup’s finale

CAIRO – 22 April 2017: Al-Ahly SC Handball squad team will take on its Tunisian counterpart “Hammamet” Saturday in the finale of the African Championship Winners' Cup taking place in Morocco.

Al-Ahly managed to combat Moroccan “Wedad Samara” 22-18 in the champions' semifinals after crashing out the Cameroon “FAB” in the quarter-finals clash.

Relevantly, Al-Ahly handball team qualified for the International Handball Federation Super Globe in Qatar next September after beating the defending champions Zamalek in the Africa Super Cup finale with a score of 29-23 on Wednesday.
