Al-Ahly celebrates its 110th birthday

CAIRO – 22 April 2017: FIFA, Fédération Internationale de Football Association, congratulated Al-Ahly club for its 110th birthday, Saturday.

“Happy Birthday to one of the oldest and most popular in Egypt, Africa and the world: 110 years of success for Al-Ahly club,” FIFA tweeted.

Al-Ahly Sporting Club, based in Cairo, was founded on April 24, 1907. It has won a record of 38 national titles, 35 national cups, 8 CAF Champions League titles and other national and regional championships along the years.
