Dwane Casey will be the Toronto Raptors' first-ever head coach in the All-Star Game, as he will guide LeBron James' team on Feb. 18 at Staples Center.

The Raptors' win on Sunday guaranteed them at least the second-best record in the Eastern Conference through Feb. 4. Brad Stevens, who heads the East-leading Boston Celtics, is not eligible for the honor after coaching in last year's All-Star Game.

Casey will be coaching against two of his own players, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, after both were picked by Western Conference captain Stephen Curry in this week's draft. Houston Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni had already been named to coach Team Stephen.

The 60-year-old Casey has gone 347-299 in nine seasons as an NBA head coach, including 294-230 in seven campaigns with the Raptors.

--The picking teams format won't be the only big change at this year's NBA All-Star Game.

The league will try to boost competitiveness in the game by increasing the bonus for players on the winning team to $100,000 apiece, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

While players on the losing team will still receive $25K each, the winners are getting $50K more than in years prior.

--Sacramento Kings coach Dave Joerger fell to one knee because of a brief dizzy spell on the sideline on Sunday and is doing fine, the team says.

The incident happened in the first quarter when Joerger rose quickly from his seat to shout directions at his players in a 113-98 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

"He's OK. He's alright," said assistant coach Elston Turner, who quickly helped Joerger to his feet, per ESPN. "Sometimes when you stand up real fast from a sitting position, you get a little bit light-headed. And that's what happened."

"I just had to grab him and pick him up," Turner said. "If you black out, you can really hurt yourself. So I was just trying to keep him from hitting the ground."

He left the court and was taken to the visitor's locker room to meet with their medical staff. Joerger didn't return as a precaution. The team hasn't said whether he'll be on the bench for the team's next game, Tuesday in New Orleans.

--Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson suffered a ruptured left patellar tendon during the third quarter of Saturday night's win over the Detroit Pistons, the team announced Sunday.

Roberson, 26, will undergo surgery to repair the injury and he is expected to miss the remainder of the season, according to the Thunder.

"He's certainly a huge loss," Thunder coach Billy Donovan said after Saturday's game. "Everyone's been able to see that since he's kinda come back to us and what he's been able to do defensively. And he's found a way to be, offensively, a really effective player for us."

--Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker expects to have a targeted date for his return from major knee surgery determined this week.

Parker played two-on-two on Saturday and worked out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls.

"Within these couple weeks. I think it's in the air for now," Parker said of his return when speaking to reporters Thursday. "I've got to keep on talking it over with the medical staff and by that time I should be good. Even when I come back at some time, it's still going to be a journey for me, taking it step by step. I'm not there, so every moment is an opportunity to get better."
