EDF holds fifth Egyptian tournament for Darts

CAIRO – 25 January 2018: Egyptian Darts Federation (EDF) is preparing for the holding of the fifth Egyptian tournament for men & women singles on January 26 and 27 at the Shooting Club, 6th October branch.






The individual tournaments being held by the federation come at the top of the competitions as they are the basic criterion for classifying Egyptian players.





These tournaments are good preparation for the Egyptian Darts national team before traveling to the Netherlands to participate in the Dutch Open Championship for Darts, which is attended by more than 4,000 players from around the world.





Dr. Yehia Abd El-Kader, the Egyptian Darts Federation’s president, said that the federation has completed great preparations for this tournament and established a training camp for the players at the union’s headquarters in January.




Dr. Abd El-Kader also stated that he invited the VIPs from the Ministry of Youth and the Egyptian Olympic Committee and the Arab and foreign ambassadors in addition to media and television stations to cover the tournament.



This tournament is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the sport of darts and encourage Egyptian clubs to practice darts and expand the base of participation throughout Egypt.
