Ashour, Soliman, Bassem, Hani renew their contracts with Al Ahly

CAIRO – 20 January 2018:Al Ahly football committee headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib announced the renewal of players HossamAshour, WalidSoliman, Bassem Ali and Mohamed Hani.

"The four players signed on their contracts without having any conditions, they left the financial issues to Al Ahly's football committee," said Sayed Abd el-Hafeez, Al Ahly's director of football.

He added that Walid and Ashour renewed for two seasons, Bassem Ali extended for four years, and Mohammed Hani for five years.

Abd el-Hafeez pointed out that the negotiations with rest of the players whose contracts expire at the end of the season is on the right track.

He said that things were moving in a positive direction for Abdullah Al-Said, Ahmed Fathi, SherifEkrami and Sabri Rahil, but due to the lack of time and matches, he was unable to put an end to these matters.

Abd el-Hafeez was pleased by the four players' attitude in negotiating with the board. They did not take much time in their discussion of their contracts' issues and they showed their desire to continue with Al Ahly.

He appreciated their loyalty to the club and promised that they will be appreciated by Al Ahly's board in return.
