It's the kind of game I love: Salah

CAIRO – 13 January 2018: Liverpool’s winger Mohamed Salah revealed that he is very excited for the upcoming clash with Manchester City and he believes that Liverpool is playing at the same level as the league leaders Manchester City.

Liverpool hosts Manchester City in the 23rd round of the Premier League on Sunday at Anfield at 06:00 p.m. EET (Cairo Local Time).

Salah told Liverpoolfc.com: "It's the kind of game I love and for the fans it's something different.”

"Us and Man City are both playing great football, so it will be a perfect game and I'm very excited. I'm sure we can have a good result. They play fantastic football but, for me, I just think about my team,” Salah added.

Liverpool have not lost at home yet this season, from 16 games at Anfield they have won 10 and drawn six.

Salah feels very confident when playing at Anfield as the fans’ support is amazing.

"I love to play here in Anfield, playing at home with a fantastic atmosphere," he said.
"We try to play each away game like [it is at] home - the most important thing is to win the game - but at home we feel more confidence with the support from the fans,” Salah added.
