Roma's Daniele Verde may leave over low prospects

CAIRO – 14 April 2017: Eredivisie (Dutch's domestic league) leaders Feyenoord showed interest in AC Roma winger Daniele Verde's services, SoccerNews reported Thursday.

"The presence of players like Mohamed Salah has lessened prospects of first-team appearances for the 20-year-old winger," it added.

Verde, whose contract with Roma ends in 2018, is playing for Serie B club Avellino, on loan from Roma.

In March, Salah was included in the “Big 5” European football leagues’ best wing players list.

Salah, 24, managed to score nine goals and assisted another five for Roma, which finished third place in the 2015/16 season.
