CAIRO – 30 December 2017: Tottenham Hotspurs manager Mauricio Pochettino hopes his main striker, Harry Kane, will recover before their away game against Swansea City on Tuesday in the Premier League.

“He's cold; he's at home. The doctor was at his house. Will he be fit to face Swansea? We'll see. I don't know if he'll be available or not. We'll see how he reacts," Pochettino told press on Friday.

Pochettino wishes Kane’s great form to continue. He ended 2017 with two hat-tricks in a row against Burnley and Southampton. He scored 39 goals in the Premier League in one calendar year, ending Alan Shearer’s record of 36 goals.

Pochettino hopes his striker never leaves the club. He said, “I think Harry doesn't have a price, because we want him here. He's priceless; there is no price. Maybe Harry Kane with his mentality can be the same kind of player for Tottenham as Francesco Totti was for Roma.”

Francesco Totti is a former player at Roma who joined the club at a very young age and stayed with the club until retirement, and he refused many offers to leave his club and join bigger teams in Europe.
