Egyptian Super Cup tickets to be released Sunday

CAIRO – 22 December 2017: Tickets to the Egyptian Super Cup between al-Ahly and Al-Masry will be released to fans on Sunday, according to Presentation President Mohamed Kamel. Presentation Company is the official sponsor of the Egyptian Super Cup.

Al-Ahly qualified to the Super Cup after winning the Egyptian League and Egypt Cup last season, while Al-Masry qualified after being the Egypt Cup runner-up.

The game is scheduled for January 12 at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, UAE.

“We will hold a press conference on Sunday to release all the details and we will release the tickets on the same day. Everyone in UAE is waiting for this game,” Kamel told ON Sport on Thursday.

Asked about the chances of broadcasting World Cup games on Egyptian TV, Kamel said, “Nothing is impossible. We will do everything we can.”

Egypt qualified to the 2018 World Cup in Russia after 28 years of absence. The draw put Egypt in Group A alongside Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and the host nation, Russia.
